Nutrition is the foundation for all of the animals on the farm.  While feed costs are among the highest monthly costs we have, least cost nutrition often does not fulfill all of an animals needs.  Good nutrition will pay for itself in increased production, reproduction & overall health.  Properly fed young calves & heifers will have an increased lifetime production compared to those who were fed to "look good" but not fed for production.   Since nutrition is so essential to overall health & production it's important to use a nutrition service that focuses on the cows health & production, not just on cost.
